The CEC is the nation’s foremost annual conference to hone in on the most critical environmental compliance and risk issues impacting the business of construction – in the building, highway and transportation, and utility infrastructure markets. Whether your goal is an excellent compliance record, to keep abreast of key developments and trends, or to gain a greater perspective on how environmental issues affect your job responsibilities or your projects — AGC’s CEC is the conference for you.

The CEC is a valuable tool for emerging and senior environmental compliance and risk professionals who work for or provide services to the construction industry. Project managers, estimators, sustainability managers, and others attend to round out their professional knowledge. Attendance ranges around 100 participants each year.

The day and a half conference providing educational options for attendees through a mixture of plenary and breakout sessions, check out the agenda page for detailed information on the sessions for the 2018 CEC.  Volunteers from AGC’s Environmental Forum help choose the topics, which cover issues in three broad categories:

    • Managing environmental requirements and risk
    • Factoring environmental concerns into phases of a project
    • Expanding your knowledge and skills

Looking for more opportunities to engage with your peers and learn?  Check out the pre-meeting page for information on how environmental professionals working in-house at construction firms can register to meet the day prior the conference for peer-driven discussions. (Separate registration.)
